Handmade jar, without handles. It was found almost intact in 1965 in a well on the Acropolis west slope, close to the Beulé gate.

Its base is flat, the body globular and the wide neck cylindrical. The outer surface as well as the inside of the mouth are burnished and retain traces of red-brown slip.

The pot was used for storing, transporting or serving solids or liquids.
